Sign-in for bands ends at 8:30 p.m! Be there on time or beg for not to lose your spot!!
General Idea: The Rock n Rollerderby Rock Band Competition is a fundraiser for the Tragic City's Rollers, Birmingham's own kick-ass roller derby league.
Don't have a "band" to rock out with? Audience participation is encouraged and desired!!! You will play a part in deciding who is Birmingham's Rock Band Rock Master!
Bands will sign up, pay a $15 entry fee per band, and compete against one another for prizes. First prize is cash plus some other goodies from our local sponsors. 2nd and 3rd place will also receive goodies. If we feel froggy, we may make up some other awards for other random stuff like costumes, acrobatics, teased hair, etc.

Speaking of that, costumes are encouraged! Your band's stage presence is part of the scoring process.

The Scoring Process
Round 1
Each registered band will perform one song on stage. Each performance in the first round will be judged based on two things:
From this first round, based off of the judges' evaluation and the game score, the top three bands will be named "Judges' Picks" and will face off against each other for positions of first, second, and third.
Round 2
The "Judges' Picks" will go on to face off against one another in a final showdown to an undisclosed list of songs to compete for the number one spot, but other bands--don't leave!! We will be awarding other dubious honors and hanging out having a blast til the bar shuts down.
